Getting there
Gasthof Weißes Lamm
Dr.-Friedrich-Morton-Weg 166
4830 Hallstatt, Austria
Travelling by train and boat: Once you have left the railway station in Hallstatt and arrived by boat at the jetty in Hallstatt, go left along Seestraße as far as the World Heritage Museum (on the right-hand side), then turn right. Now turn left and continue for about 30 m to our establishment. It is about a three-minute walk between the jetty and our establishment.
Travelling by bus: From the bus terminal, walk along Seestraße towards the town centre. Before you reach the World Heritage Museum on the left-hand side, turn left twice and continue for about 30 m to our establishment. It is about a seven-minute walk between the bus terminal and our establishment.
Travelling by car: Please note that the whole of Hallstatt is a traffic-calmed zone, and that no long-term parking spaces are available in the town centre. Therefore we recommend that you use the hotel car park P1. The very reasonable charges*) include free use of the hotel shuttle bus between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on arrival and departure. Follow the parking guidance system to the P1 car park. Take a ticket as you drive into the car park, park your vehicle in a free space and proceed to the “Hotel-Shuttle-Info-Point” at the entrance. The shuttle service will take you and your luggage directly to the front of our hotel and will pick you up again when you depart. Before driving through the exit of the car park for the first time take your ticket to the ticket machine and press the button marked “Hotel Ticket”. Insert your ticket into the corresponding slot and choose how long you wish to stay. The ticket machine will now calculate the discounted hotel rate*) and you will be able to enter and leave as you wish. PLEASE NOTE: The normal day rate (€ 19.00) will be charged if you do not convert your short-stay ticket into a hotel ticket. .
*) 1 day: € 16.00 per day, 2 days: 15.00 per day, 3 days: € 1.00 per day, 4 to 7 days: € 9.00 per day, 8 days and longer: € 6.00 per day.
Your hotel ticket entitles you to drive in and out as often as you wish (1 day = 24 hours).
You can get an entrance ticket for single usage from us or the gatekeeper at the bus terminal.
